Why are we serving here?

One of the ways ForColumbia strives to love and serve our neighbors is by serving those non-profit organizations who are actively working every day in the lives of people in Columbia. One of the ways we plan to serve local non-profits this year is by providing freezer meals for the individuals they serve.

At this site, volunteers will cook freezer-friendly meals to be used by True North, Cor, and The Caring People as they actively serve children and adults who are all going through painful seasons of life, in varying ways.

What can I expect?

ForColumbia volunteers will provide freezer-friendly meals of varying sizes for the women and children living at True North’s domestic violence shelter; for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while family members are hospitalized; and for children being cared for in crisis foster situations by Rainbow House.
