Why are we serving here?

One of the ways ForColumbia strives to love and serve our neighbors is by serving those non-profit organizations who are actively working every day in the lives of people in Columbia. One of the ways we plan to serve local non-profits this year is by providing freezer meals for the individuals they serve.

At this site, volunteers will cook freezer-friendly meals to be used by Rainbow House, True North and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri, as they actively serve children and adults who are all going through painful seasons of life, in varying ways.

What can I expect?

ForColumbia volunteers will provide freezer-friendly meals of varying sizes for the women and children living at True North’s domestic violence shelter; for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while family members are hospitalized; and for children being cared for in crisis foster situations by Rainbow House.
